More than 9 billion tons of synthetic plastics have been made over the past 60 years, but only 9% have ever been recycled. Gaea provides a complete value chain from bioplastic resins to finished products, and eliminates the introduction of harmful plastics at the source.
Our Technology
Our bioplastic resins are both compostable and cost effective. We use plants and other renewable materials to replace harmful petrochemicals and conventional plastics with compostable alternatives. We have a wide range of products ready to replace single-use plastics that are more durable – especially when used for packaging (bags), delivery, and for high temperature items like coffee and hot food.
